At Avison Young, I co-founded an in-house training seminar where I served as a lead speaker for nearly a decade. What started as an event for mid-Atlantic employees soon grew to include keynotes from corporate executives, discussions with clients, and activities designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and team-building with employees from across the country.
Planning and promoting a day full of workshops was no small feat. Each year, I worked with a tight-knit team to develop an engaging agenda that ensured all our attendees left with new insights to share with clients. One of our most popular themes was "Brand Camp", signaling our spirit of collaboration and intent to break the rigidity of traditional training workshops.
